The ‘Plough & Orion’ video features a (real life) couple who got engaged at a recent Skinny Lister gig. The band thought this was great, and invited them to star in the vid. Watch it below.

Marie-Clare fell in love with Skinny Lister before she fell in love with Pete. She met the band on their Homemade Tour in Bridlington. After much music and merriment Marie-Clare finally stumbled home at around 3 am on a Monday night. Whoops. She met Pete shortly after and introduced him to Skinny Lister. This was all unknown to the band until they had an email from Pete saying that he was going to surprise Marie-Clare with a trip across the country to a Skinny Lister gig where he was going to propose. Sure enough they arrived at the gig and we dedicated Plough and Orion to them, drank rum and raised a few champagne glasses as well. It was a joyful moving night. It seemed only right that the video and track should be dedicated to this amorous pair.
